Press Statement for Immediate Release

Press Statement for Immediate Release

(March 10, 2025; Monrovia, Liberia): The attention of the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) has been drawn to series of allegations made by Mr. Martin K. N. Kollie, wherein, he made some unsubstantiated allegations against Hon. Ansu V. S. Dulleh Sr., Executive Director of the NDMA of dubious car deal and USD 1.3 million misappropriation, which we consider as despicable, false and misleading, without any iota of truth.

The NDMA wishes to clarify and debunk the lies and concocted fabrications which are as follows:

1. It is important to note that, unlike the vehicle purchased by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, as mentioned by Mr. Kollie, ours is new and far different with upgraded features which include air conditioner, radio, better seating capacity and one-year service arrangement, justifying the price difference.

2. We wish to also clarify that the transaction falls in line with all acceptable standards as prescribed by the Public Procurement and Concession Commission’s Act (PPCC) and the regulations laid down by the General Services Agency (GSA).

3. We also want to debunk the superficial assertion that USD 1.3 million is unaccounted for without any tangible or verifiable proof to authentic such reckless statement. However, as a professional service provider entity, we are amenable to all governmental scrutiny and would do anything to uphold those professional standards and accountability.

In view of the foregoing supra, the NDMA wishes to affirm that the allegations made are all false and misleading and the public should not dignify such malicious propaganda by Mr. Kollie who has the history of tainting the reputation and characters of noble actors for political gains.
